This publication is a selection from a collection of copies of pointe shoes. It is possible to fully unfold this book, to allow yourself to see all of the copies of the pointes. By the different ways of copying, you see different perspectives on the pointes. The pointes stand for ultimate feminine beauty. But at the same time, these points hurt, and to dance on the pointes it takes hours, days and years of practice. But at the same time, when I see women dance on this points, it looks so easy. This contrast appeals to me.
