This film is about the things in the everyday world that stand out to me, it is an urge to escape from that everyday world and to lose yourself in a certain darkness that lies in the everyday life. I see these things
when I work in my basement, when I look out of the window, et cetera.
The images and sounds have a certain recognizability, but because I changed the speed, order, combinations and amount of images and sounds, it starts to feel strange. It almost feels a bit random. This gives the film a fierce energy.
