I have used the copy machine for weeks. I copied and scanned a wide range of objects. The result: a pile of more than 200 scans. I incorporate this pile into a book. I combined the different copies and scans in a spontaneous way, so different images came together. It is interesting how these images react to each other. There is an interesting ‘image rhyme’ happening in the book. The combination and order of scans feel alienating and random. The outside of the book is a white piece of paper that I copied several times, to visualize what a copier does.
