Art Collective with artist-colleague whom I met during working at bronze foundry Kemner. 

 

Having met while working at the Kemner bronze foundry in Cuijk, we quickly realized we are both fascinated by the bronze casting process. Our aim is to share with each other and with others our passion and fascination in order to push the boundaries of our individual art practices in relation to metal casting and to start a dialogue about the use of the metal foundry process more than only the ‘’final artwork’’ but in its wider context.

 

We have created a platform via Instagram where we share our fascinations about the bronze foundry; materials, rhythms, movements, techniques, mistakes, rawness, rest materials, order systems, processes, sounds, coincidences, waste, tools and more. Besides we love to visit exhibitions with liked minded artist, who we like to share as well on our Instagram. 

 

Besides this archive we create, we also make sculptures together to experiment with the process and material. Because we are both specialized in the sand casting process and in welding, we find love to search for the boundaries of what is possible.
